About your instructor
Mónica is a native of Albuquerque, NM. She has lived in Boise for the past 10 years with her two sons enjoying all that Idaho has to offer! She grew up bilingual as her maternal family are Mexican-American and Spanish was spoken at home. She has a passion for sharing her love of Spanish and the many cultures that encompass the Spanish language. She joined Suntree Language Academy for the opportunity to broaden the horizons of her students through sharing her love of language and culture. She has traveled to many countries and looks forward to more travels in the future.

Novice
After taking a Novice course, you will obtain basic skills that allow you to interact with others in the language.
Intermediate
After taking an Intermediate course, you will further develop your social interactions with native Spanish speakers.
Beginner
After taking a Beginner course, you will obtain basic skills that allow you to communicate about everyday life.
Advanced
After taking an Advanced course you will master the vocabulary to speak about a wider range of nuanced topics.

All textbooks and materials used in the course are included. All you need to bring is yourself!

Private Spanish classes
Enjoy the flexibility and personalization of our private Spanish classes! These classes are perfect if you want to pick up a new hobby, add to your professional resume, or need Spanish tutoring for your high school or college courses. All experience levels and language goals are welcome!
Private classes can be paid for by the Empowering Parents grant for students aged 8-18! You can apply here.
